“Heidi”
My name is Heidi. Welcome to my page. I am a Border Collie. I was adopted in January 2007 from the
San Diego Humane Society in San Diego, CA. I have been a member of the Standifird clan ever since then. Here is a bit more information about me:
- I was about 1.5 years old when adopted, which means I was born around July 15, 2005.
- I am a female and weight something in the 45 lbs range but I would prefer not to say for sure.
- I am very social with people and especially with other dogs. I am constantly trying to get my friend Chewy to play with me. We play great together, just not enough in my mind.
- I love to be trained and have tried to respond accordingly. I absolutely love to play tug-a-war. Don’t let my size full you. I’m a top notch tug-a-war player.
- Walks and runs are great. Getting Chewy to play with me, even better.
- I love the attention and will take as much as I can get. Belly rubs, head pats, paws shakes, I love it all (Chewy and I share this trait in common).
- I love to bounce around and play with others. However, if need be, I can entertain myself. I am particularly fond of chasing toys I’ve tossed in the air myself. It’s tougher then you think - give it a try some time. Or better yet, toss a toy my way.
- In terms of food, I like it but not nearly as much as Chewy and PJ. They’re crazy for the treats. Don’t get me wrong. I like a good treat. However, given a choice, I’d rather play.
