We are fortunate enough to live in sunny San Diego, truly one of America's finest cities.
Sports Illustrated magazine called San Diego "Sportstown, U.S.A." Travel and Leisure magazine identified San Diego as the US city with the 'most attractive people.' San Diego has some of the best weather in the world, 70 miles of beaches and 100 golf courses (50 are public). It is home to the world famous San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Wild Animal Park and a multitude of other attractions.
San Diego is best described as a collection of communities such as the Gaslamp, Little Italy and Seaport Village (downtown), Allied Gardens, Del Cerro, Hillcrest, La Jolla, Mission Beach,
North Park, Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, and Scripps Ranch, to name a few.
San Diego has a long Naval history and is home to the Navy's Pacific Fleet. Major Navy/Marine operations include: Navy Region Southwest (NRSW), Naval Base Coronado, Naval Base Point Loma, Naval Medical Center San Diego, Camp Pendleton, and Marine Corps Air Station Miramar (MCAS)
